Construction has officially commenced on a state-of-the-art $600 million Health Translation Hub, a remarkable 16-storey facility situated at the intersection of the University of New South Wales’ Kensington Campus and the Randwick Hospitals Campus.
The design for this groundbreaking hub was entrusted to Architectus and Aspect Studios, with a unique feature being its connectivity to the neighboring Sydney Children’s Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital through a skybridge.
The primary objective of this ambitious project is to elevate health outcomes within the community by fostering collaboration among educational and medical researchers, clinicians, educators, industry partners, and public health authorities. Bringing these diverse stakeholders together within a single location will facilitate the translation of cutting-edge research and education into tangible enhancements in patient care and treatment.
New South Wales Premier Chris Minns emphasized the critical role of medical research in delivering world-class healthcare.
