The 40th annual Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Telethon, held from June 3 to 6 on WGAL8, successfully raised $361,528.43. The funds will support equipment, programs, and research at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

Lyndsay Morgan, whose 7-year-old daughter Harper was featured in the broadcast, emphasized the importance of the CMN in the community. “We want to share our story and make sure people know that Children’s Miracle Network is right here in their community,” she said. “It’s about helping the children in your local elementary schools and even in your own neighborhood. Donations are invaluable for giving children and families the services they need.”

This year’s telethon will fund family-centered programs, lifesaving equipment, and transformative research for pediatric patients like Harper. Morgan highlighted the impact of the Child Life Program, which helped normalize Harper’s hospital experience through toys and activities. “To everyone connected to us through CMN, thank you,” she added.
